If your cpu is running too hot ur pc will just shut off. If your gpu is running too hot the pc wont shut down but the gpu will fry. This is proof hardware rendering sucks balls compared to software rendering.

Hot enough to get artifacts and have a dead 7800 gtx,x1800xt and 8800 gt. I hope the industry switches back to software rendering because ive never had a cpu fry from running too hot.

SLI is a 3dfx technology from the voodoo 2 days and video cards werent even relevant untill the voodoo3 days because you needed a seperate 2d display adapter. Video games havent been relevant since games stopped supporting software rendering and requiring video cards. 3dfx didnt die...

I had to wait untill 1994 to play on atari jaguar it since i didnt have a computer. 2 years too late? Not really i had alien vs predator and wolfenstein 3d and doom to play lol. i played doom the most though.

This game looks like garbage hopefully it gets cancelled now where's blood 3,redneck rampage 2 or shadow warrior 2.

Not impressive source engine uses outdated lighting techniques cough lightmaps cough.

I can post screenshots to prove it but hardware mode in ut1999 looks more blurry than software mode and the colors arent as good. video cards=blurry shithole.

software rendering days>>lame video card days we had better games. my old 466 mhz intel celeron p2 based bought in 1999 can run ut1999 in software mode easily. proving video cards were never really needed it just made pc gaming less accessibile.

Pretty bad they cant make enough to keep em in stock.

No longer buying 500$ cards had a 7800 gtx and x1800xt brick on me and warranty ran out 600$ paper weights.

i had a 560 ti and it didnt do it.

8800 GT doesnt do it so it's the card not the moniter.

my bios is up to date.
