Right I have what is supposed to be a HD 7970 GPU 'installed in X79 mobo', bizarre thing is it has 1x6 pin + 1x8 pin like a 7970, however it shows as Device ID 1002-679A which is a HD 7950, now things get even weirder as it only has 1536 Shaders? Wtf is this card? Anybody?

Looks good to me aswell, the Nvidia fanboys just can't stand the fact that AMD have the best single GPU performance crown again, it's like they literally cannot fathom it, there brains just can't deal with it, they need a way to justify it to themselves, therefore the flaming and weird comments...

I hate all this let's just file lawsuits and sue for the rights.. People should stop trying to make a profit by ripping each other off and settle these things out of court. If you like Nvidia hardware why bother buying the 7970's in the first place? :wtf: Very happy with my 7970, 1075/1475 all day long and temps are lower than any previous card I have owned. It's a beast, looking forward to seeing the performance of the HD 7990 and GTX 690. I think the GTX 660...

Wander if BAGZZlash has had any time to look into it RBE supporting HD 7970's? It's a totally new arch. The current version doesn't regonise the HD 7970's bios as a bios. Really hope RBE will support it at some point, would be awesome to able to set clocks or at least voltages etc. Happy...

Yeah would be awesome if RBE allows volt changing, hopefully clocks aswell as the 7900 series is a different arch...

The VGA Bios section now has HD 7970 bios, managed to grab the XFX Black editon bios. Default clocks are now 1000Mhz core 1425Mhz memory :)
