For this CPU I use now Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition with Phobya NanaGrease Extreme compund. Max temp at 4.2 GHz full load, 68°C.
This is acceptable. When I use Handbrake for video-encoding the temp stays around 63°C. Room temp is 22° and dual 120 fans in front intake.
If you only do gaming an R6 3600X is just enough. Or you like to brag with Intel CPU....
I've been in Switzerland 8 times in 6 years now and most the swiss people are rich compared to the rest of EU. Therefore I meant what I wrote before.
Sorry to be little off topic.
Your reply just proves...
They forgot to test performance single core at same clock relative to price. From there you can see the truth about the cpu. Intel might have higher clocks but that produces also more heat and consumes more power.
Why waste the money? Swiss people has too much of them.
I would go for AMD Ryzen 7 3700X for sure. Had Intel since core i7 2600K was new.
Liquid cooling will solve the temps. Intel has about 10% slower core performance and they are much more expensive. Or wait for the Ryzen 4000-series for desktop builds.
I bought my kit from here and works very good for my Ryzen 2700X.
You might change the currency on the web.
