    Im speaking from my personal experience, I did upgrade from i5 2500 to r5 3600, reuse old ssd with no formatting everything boots up and works just fine.

    I dont know how you setup your Kodi on, but if you have your Kodi in VM hosted in PC/server, I think you can setup NAT, with private address for inner network and public address facing outside, which then you can setup PPTP VPN to connect into your server.

    is not surprising seeing MSI support 5000 series across all 400 chipsets, if I recall it correctly when AMD said 3000 series would only work with x570 at that time, MSI have the loudest voice to ask AMD to release the bios to support 400 series as well.

    in case you don't get it, he referring to ATI acquisition was valued at 6Bil (5.6 to be precise) which was super-overpaid at that time.

    let's see if Nvidia allows AIB to put G6X memory since they have much better cooling solution than Founders Edition. if not, then this reason is bs and Nvidia just want to gimp RTX 3080 with memory bandwidth for segmentation purposes.
