I have a sprint phone that I hacked into the registery for free tethering. Im talking about a product that consumers could buy, and with high powered recievers, you can get wifi from over a mile away from the actual hotspot. Also, I'm from the US.

Would it be possible to make a high powered wlan reciever with a good sized antenna mounted to a car that picks up unsecured wifi signals, and takes that internet connection to a hotspot for the car? The theory im going for is - Unsecured wireless signal --| - Unsecured wireless signal...

Do you have three seperate partitions, or HDD's? Also, the way I did it, is I used Ubuntu 8.x and then upgraded once the OS was loaded. Trouble free process.
