Temps? Did I miss something, or were there no idle/load temps in the review?

EVGA Upgrades GeForce GTX 470 Reference Design

The second GTX295 had two backplates, but I think that was more to cool the memory. I do agree that stiffening the PCB should increase the mounting pressure and decrease PCBwarpage. The thermal paste part is not all that possible. nVidia uses Shin-Etsu 7762 thermal paste, which isn't...

EVGA Upgrades GeForce GTX 470 Reference Design

Yeah, I cutout the entire vented area of my new GTX470 to make it even more open than EVGA's design. Before and after benchmark tests showed zero temperature difference. Since the backplate actually reduces the airflow over the PCB (which acts as a heatsink itself) I have trouble understanding...

GeForce GTX 480 PCB and Cooling Assembly Pictured

Looks like 5 bare heatpipes to me. Glad graphics cards are finally starting move to having the heatpipes directly on the chip like high end CPU heatsinks have been doing for years now.

    Single-PCB GeForce GTX 295 Pictured

Clueless LOL! Good thing you guys aren't working for nVidia cuz you don't have a clue. The old 295 heatsink had a horrible design. This thing is going to have tons more overclocking margin compared to the old one and hopefully will be quieter too. I'll repost my "told you so" roundup...
