Celeron D 3.20 ghz.. I like intel a lot. AMD computers boot slower. I feal that intel boots faster and over all runs quicker then the AMD baced computer.

Hello all, I have a Dell 17'' LCD Monitor. It will power on and show a display for about 5 sec, then the screen goes black. Is there a way to fix this? Or is the backlight dead? Post your thoughts and comments. Thanks in advance! :)
