oh my god. those people going "wow only 1.15V look at the amazing potential in kepler".
:banghead: Are those people serious. Don't people know that software reads voltages wrong or the fact that this thing is most likely hardmodded to hell. or the whole existence of the EVbot.
worse was...
^ this. if a GPU is powerful enough it doesn't need 6 gigs of ram.
a 780Ti with 3 gigs of ram will defeat a 4 gig 680 at 4K easily. because of the extra horsepower.
it's a shame bad programming makes people think that more VRAM is the solution. no it's god awful programming.
I played the...
Isn't this the card that whooped the EVGA kingpin's ass?
plus lol people using watchdogs as reference to the VRAM limit. I know people with 4 GB cards. I know one person who has a 6GB card. all of them have the stuttering and hiccups.
watchdogs is just a horribly optimized game hence why they...
Honestly now we need a full cover water cooling setup and this might be stupidly powerful in terms of overclocking. plus no stupid nvidia greenlight stopping voltage modding.
Bluh first that one german company making awesome looking blocks and now swiftech.
Too bad it's always for reference models.
i am still stuck using EKWB for my EVGA 780Ti classified.
It is kinda funny. because I always heard people yell on how thief is going to show the TRUE power of mantle since thief was supposed to be be build up from the ground up supporting mantle.
well I guess that kinda went wrong.
Bluh. ofcourse nowhere to be found on amazon or newegg.
their "where to buy" section is useless too.
how is MSI's warranty? Is it worldwide like asus and EVGA?
Jacob from EVGA already answered that question.
they need to be able to test the GPU in the factory and you need some form of cooling to do that.
it is too much work/hours to screw on test then screw off coolers in the factory essentially doubling the time it needs to make a GPU and as we...
I can understand that reasoning easily but in a way I wonder. this is only something you guys can know but how many people actually GO LN2 of the people buying this. I would think not that many since people who use LN2 are hardcore benchers anyway and if you go on THAT level of benching you most...
Well ofcourse EXTREMEEEEEE overclockers will get rid of the ACX anyway and put watercooling/LN2 on this thing. But I expect the cooler should be able to handle like 1,5ghz on air.
But then again I wouldn't be suprised that this card is just a huge publicity stunt/gullible buy card and it ends...
Don't they generally always pick the same speed memory as the reference? I have never seen a non-reference change the speed. overclocked yes but never a completely different memory type.
