That's okay if your graphics card works and the motherboard is correctly seated and 'earthed' without these you can't get a POST code and without the motherboard correctly fitted you don't get any beeps ( Been there done that!!) :ohwell: Think this is basic step by step plain english...

OK... nothing ventured nothing gained. With Motherboard, RAM seated, attached to power and secured to case with screws and spacers I have no beeps... swopped red 'n' black speaker cable 'round, retried still no beep. Could be a broken speaker? Located Graphics card, secured no beeps Added...

Yep... attached monitor to laptop that works fine also. Monitor cable tried both ways round no difference. Living room has so many bits of PC floating round it, it could be PC World's spares store :D LMAO Okay - gonna start again, could be gone a while!! I'll strip it right back and add...

AOL linksys systems use Admin and password as default Linksys older routers used blank user names and admin as password and new ones use admin and admin. Sorry should have been a little clearer with my explanations. Assumed that the others would have been tried first. :cry:

Factory defaults on linksys Username Admin Password password If that helps, I'd try that prior to reset.
