Hi Frick, Just refreshed and caught your edit, so that applys even though the MOBO has 'on-board' graphics? Sorry to be repetitive, but, I don't understand why the CPU also needs to have graphics? Perhaps I am just being a bit slow/thick today.....

It's just been suggested to me that the reported memory error is because this particular CPU does not have an 'iGPU' (scroll down on this link 'Intel CPU's'. This leaves me slightly confused as the MOBO has on-board graphics. Does this sound like a posible cause?

That is what I am left thinking too.....but if it is the CPU, why the misleading beeps?

Unfortunately this MOBO has neither of those functions.
