This is because in AMD's the MCC is attached to the CPU since 2003. Not nessesarily better to have lower frequencies but as long as the RAM performs at a rate equal to the CPU's core clock it will make no difference if the mem freq is hightend. This is why the Mems cas lvls matter more in AMD...

I see this case's base model a lot, well done but im a UV whore and the modding which was done to you're case does'nt emit much light (such as that 1 CCFL on the bottom instead of 2 inside, 1 on bottom and 1 on top or a side). Wish you put more lighting into it thats all really, whats the point...

Remove the CPU's fan and heat sink, lift the latch and carefully make sure the cpu is properly fit to its platform.

Did u check and make sure the CPU and RAM r seated properly? I just have a hard time believing ur PSU shit the bed due to it having stable power to your mobo at all times. If your mobo had been fried from a surge, the fuse inside ur PSU would be out as well causing your PSU to fail on power-up...

Yes sir, do me a favor and take any classic 386 CPUs and compare it to any quad-core CPUs on the market today, keeping either under the temp range of 60*c will not blow either chip. If you manage to pop either of these chips while staying under this range then please enlighten me on how you did...

60*c is just were i draw the line, with my personal experiance i will allow anything lower to be ran within a 5* down range np to give it some leeway. Have yet to see under 60 as a problem :pimp:
