I don't think the e-SATA ports can be conneted to PCs. They are for external drive only.

Having a drive spinning 24/7 is slightly different from 24/7 "operation". What is typical data rate for BT up/downloading? It is not that easy to make a drive for 24/7 high data rate access.

I use Ballistix Tracer just beacuse I got a good deal on it. Kinda of waste of its fancy looking.

Well, the DVD drive is covered by the wooden door (in the firsty pic). The other pics were taken before the door was installed. Sorry for the confusion. You are absolutely right about the wires.

It is an industrial switch. I got it from a junkyard.

The rear part is functioning as "muffler" to reduce the noise from the two 120mm rear fans. And it worked well.
