A good portion of laptop users buy exclusively for portable gaming. This new wave of manufacturers producing gaming handhelds is long overdue. Whichever company solves the battery life/gpu power problem and can produce 6 hours of of gaming at full power will open the floodgates.

I actually brought my 4090 from Newegg at launch and sold my 3080 10gb on ebay for $700 after the 4090 arrived. So the net cost of the 4090 was $1000, cheaper than the $4080.

I can say the same my friend about the console hate. I have all of three consoles and gaming pcs as well, but my Switch experience and others in my circle has been far different. No joycon drift or issues with quality with my launch system. I hope your experiences with the system improves.
