India is Trying to Win Over Intel

Actually happening with the place I work, management outsourced data entry to India and around 50% of the entries have errors which need them to re-visited - sometimes multiple times back and forth despite having the sheet saying what to put into the data boxes. Probably get what they paid for...

GIGABYTE Z690 AORUS Breaks Overclocking Records of Dual 8GHz on i9-12900K+DDR5

While he called them out - it's actually not proven yet, as this one has passed the validation (the reason why it's still up) but they could have bypassed it through the bios. Meaning even more shady. "Was the PLL lock bug back, this time on a way we can’t detect as it passes all internal...

MSI Releases Windows 11 Auto HDR Compatible Monitors List

Yea unfortunately that's that sad truth for normal monitors of 350 nits.

Sony Electronics Introduces the SRS-NS7 - a Wearable Personal Theater

Depends on what type of batteries, if they're the standard 18650, it could be easy to replace yourself. The drivers themselves could also be recycled. I don't think you can connect a headphone to the TV unless through 3.5mm jack. The probably they're solving is those whom don't have room for a...

Samsung Confirms RDNA2-based Exynos 2200 iGPU Will Support Ray Tracing

Why would you want Ray tracing at like a absurdly low paths traced, and would you even noticed those reflections in a 6" screen? Not to mention the heat generated would mean degradation to the battery.

AAEON Introduces the BOXER-6643-TGU Compact Industrial System with Intel Tiger lake Processor

Don't get it, if it's fan-less and meant to keep dust outside, why are there vent holes on the side...

NVIDIA RTX 30 SUPER Series Specifications Rumored

Was actually inferring that it was still Samsung 7nm, since they're on 5nm for mobile. Although yields for these bigger chips would be questionable.

NVIDIA RTX 30 SUPER Series Specifications Rumored

If it's still built on Samsung 8nm - that's a no go for me. 7nm would of been nice.

GIGABYTE AERO Laptops Thrill Content Creators with Complete Package

Depends on what perspective, if you click the link to check the specs - they won.

Intel Ponte Vecchio GPU to Be Liquid Cooled Inside OAM Form Factor

Would of been awesome if they got to the point of In-Chip water Cooling.

Intel Could Rename its Semiconductor Nodes to Catch Up with the Industry

Well there was a calculation done on Intel's 10nm logic to be 100Mtr/mm^2 where the wikichips is based off, obviously thats only the densest part and not the entirety. https://hexus.net/tech/news/cpu/119699-intel-10nm-density-27x-improved-14nm-node/

16-Core Intel Alder Lake-S Processor Appears with DDR5 Memory

You do know that Nano-meter is basically marketing which you've totally fallen for. The definition of the 10nm on Intel Fabs is different from the definition used at TSMC, they use to be similar back around 22nm but now it's all gibberish. Better to look at transistor density - basically...

EVGA Launches the GeForce RTX 3090 KINGPIN Hybrid - $2,000 USD

The KINGPIN cards are generally collector items since they're so scarce and also limited time. Also another thing, pricing is generally not linear, to get the top performance - generally the price is doubled.

Apple Reduces App Store Commission to 15% for Most Developers

"full 30% commission rate on all revenue" What? Why isn't it like Tax brackets. Better to earn $999k than $1 Million.

AMD Announces CDNA Architecture. Radeon MI100 is the World's Fastest HPC Accelerator

While performance is great, many data centres do not look for performance as the determining factor, it'll most likely be support both in software and customer care. Since they will always be a faster card coming out.
