AMD Announces the Radeon VII Graphics Card: Beats GeForce RTX 2080

    I haven't seen a RTX 2080 below $800

Intel Core i7-9700K Put Through Geekbench on a Z370 Motherboard

It all depends on the pricing, the 2700x is $330, the 8700k is already $360, so likely the 9700K might end up being ~$400-420 and the 9900K ~$460-500+, and for that price I rather get a 12 core Threadripper, otherwise the $330 2700x with a motherboard. But that's all speculation, but I don't...

    AMD Officially Discloses Ryzen 3 2200GE, Ryzen 5 2400GE Energy-Efficient APUs

It is 2018 and people still think TDP is power consumption, I've lost faith in humanity.

Intel Formally Announces the Core i7 and Core i9 X Series Processors

The 7700k came with a HD 630 at 91W TDP, this axes the iGPU and rises the TDP. Makes no sense what so ever.

AMD Shares Details on Ryzen DDR4 Memory Support and Upcoming AM4 Updates

3466 is only possible on motherboards with a clock generator, look at the BCLK that the Ryzen samples are running. Afaik, you can't push Ryzen base clock over 100MHz without an external clock generator. This is a bit too much for the average user to fiddle with. Seems they did the same with...

Tom Clancy's "The Division" Gets DirectX 12 Update, RX 480 Beats GTX 1060 by 16%

The Fiji chips didn't sell well because they were overpriced for what they were. They still are. Mainland Europe the Fury X sold for 850EUR ($882), months later it started sitting at 650-700EUR($674-726), same with the Fury Nano and the cut Fury. HBM didn't help them much, and I call the Fiji...

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8 GB

Are all reviewers instructed by nvidia to bench against stock nvidia cards? I hope you stick to that when benching future AMD cards too.

More Polaris10 and Polaris11 Specifications Revealed

How do you figure that an architecture that is not castrated from compute units is inferior to an architecture that is, is beyond me. All nvidia has right now, is clock speed. Down clock a GTX 1080 to the GTX 980 clocks and the cards would be almost the same.

More Polaris10 and Polaris11 Specifications Revealed

You really are pushing it with the wishful thinking. I don't doubt $380 GTX 1070 cards, but doubt they'll go much lower at least not until a price drop. Tho I think the $450 pricing sounds a lot more attractive to everyone who's trying to sell you something. Welcome to the Nvidia opposite day...

AMD Pulls Radeon "Vega" Launch to October

Fury X is your S-class, not even a year old. AMD is telling you for about a year now that Polaris is a mid range card at best, just because you chose to ignore it or weren't in the loop doesn't mean this wasn't the plan all along. I know it's hard to understand that most money comes from...

AMD Pulls Radeon "Vega" Launch to October

Why is it so hard for people to understand that Enthusiast and High End cards make about of 5% of total GPU sales. That's a luxury market. Both AMD and Nvidia make a about 80% of their GPU profits on laptop, OEM, low-end and mid-range discreet cards. This is what AMD is targeting with Polaris...

AMD to Launch First "Polaris" Graphics Cards by Late May

    That's because you have to look at it the other way. GTX 1080 = GTX 980 replacement GTX 1070 = GTX 970 replacement Polaris 10A (480) = R9 380 replacement Polaris 10B (480x) = R9 380x replacement and maybe they'll have lower samples too which will replace the R7 370/R9 270 and 360/260 cards...

AMD to Launch First "Polaris" Graphics Cards by Late May

You mean the same AMD that has Radeon GPUs in every known gaming console on the planet and every future console for the foreseeable future? I think their GPU game can only get better. As for Polaris, they've been telling to the public that they're targeting mid-range, with cheap(er) cards...
