In central europe the cheapest GTX 770 is currently in stock for 375€. A 7970 GHz Edition is in stock for 350€ including the never settle reloaded games bundle (Crysis 3, Bioshock, Tomb raider). Tough decision but I will go for the 7970 ghz Edition....

Half Life 2 is the best game I've ever played too. Never seen so nice models, textures and physics in a game. 15 to 20 hours of great fun.

Yes I'm testing it...so far no problems. It seems to have less agressive mem timings then the Sapphire x800 XT PE bios and the ATI 526_573. I still need plenty of time for testing ;)

X800,either PRO,XT or XT PE, uses R420 GPU.

This is a very, very optimistic guess. Most cards I've seen work only with about 535/575 without voltmod.

When entering the number in the edit box, this issue doesn't happen. But it needs intense testing (always a reboot after the first change, needs more then a couple of tests to be confirmed working), that's why I will report further changes. Thx W1zzard for your supply.
