...I really need to see benchmarks on these cards. Between this and the huge price hikes, Turing cards will have to obliterate Pascal cards in performance to be worth buying.
It'll be nice seeing more genuine deals, rather than retailers calling MSRP a discount...but I'm still just gonna wait for the next gen cards at this point.
Noob question: how would you calculate peak theoretical TFLOPs based on the listed specs?
Is it 5120 shaders x 2 x 1.3 GHz clock = 14 TFLOPs? Or am I missing something?
Cheaper than I expected, which is a nice change of pace for an NVIDIA card. That's only $50 more than the 980 Ti was at launch.
Still WAY out of my price range, but I'm glad it wasn't $800+, LOL.
It's been a while since I've anticipated the pricing and benchmarks for cards from both companies so eagerly.
