ha ha , nice one thats what its all about mate i see your posts everywhere i look atm, i am mainly looking at 5800 threads though mate, i've given you a thanks for your good work.....keep it up
there are no 5850s bios at all on here yet if you have any 5850 post it up using gpuz it'll...
you are doing a good job jared , have you got your 5850 yet, i am getting mine tommorrow powercolor ones, 3 of them sorry for being greedy, but the 775 max gpu limit in ccc is no good for me , so come on lets see an asus bios
hiya bagzz
i have 3 x 5850s coming and i want to open up the ccc limits to a much higher level but i'm sure that even an asustop 5850 won't have theccc limits i'm looking for i want 1200gpu and 1400 memory limit, could i use the signature file save from asustop 5870 and then use that sig file...
thanks wizzard, the review of the 5850's is just what i've been waiting for and the card overclocks as i expected and hoped and with having the same memory chip as its bigger brother makes it even better and i've just ordered 3 on the strength of your review, shame the extra shaders can't be...
hiya wizz, you'd know better than anybody but i thought the 5850s ran at a slightly lower default stock voltage than the 5870's hence why they seem to top out at 800ish
thanks for the review wizzard, with the 5850's do you think at some point the disabled shaders can be re enabled like they did on the old ati 850 cards and does gputool work with the 5800 series cards yet
thanks
usually the yellow dots indicate memory what clock is your memory on gpu at, i'd turn the memory down as it doesn't make as much difference as the core clock does , it sounds like the memory chips are getting too hot but why an earlkier driver doesn't do the same i'm not sure
cheers randy :toast: interestingly the voltage on the pcs in 3d is the normal 1.3125 so powercolor must have cherry picked better binned chips for the gpus, fan profiles is a bit more aggressive than standard card to cope with the higher gpu speed
ssgwright yes you are right without voltage mod highest i have seen is 877 and that was with asus 4870x2 top by kinc the well known overclocker , i have run at 100% fan and managed 850 core on single card and 830 with 2 4870x2's, i have edited the bios ok , fitseries3 are you talking about a...
