The modified BIOS i received solved my problems. It has higher frequencies in some modes, voltages stay untouched.

Removing the update didnt solve anything. I have done some testing: the more stressed my GPU is, the more stable it becomes. Meanwhile, I have contacted the PowerColor support, it seems that they will send me a test bios as soon as i give them some information about my HD5570.

Concerning drivers, i have no problem with them since i formatted my computer after having that card installed. I will try to uninstall the Windows Update to see what it does.

Well, i've done all the stuff suggested above in safe mode. No driver trace reported afterwards. However, i still can't use 9.4: still rebooting before logon screen.

I'll try that as soon as possible and keep you informed :) However, the only thing i was not doing was not cleaning the registry with CCleaner. Who knows, maybe it was just that.

I just checked, i have been using xp64 drivers.

I doubt it's my problem, VC++ 2005 redistributable is a common prerequisite and is installed on my system. Moreover, the 9.4 release notes say that the only prerequisite is the Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0
