I know, I just layed out what I did on my PC! Using the OC button on the back of the card gave higher temps (of course). But that was all the OCing I did on the card. I switched back and forth but that did not help setting the fans straight!

Tried the OC BIOS which is present after a push of the 'Big Red Button'. And my CPU was OC'd to 4.2Ghz.

After contact with Powercolor I was told to download the latest WHQL driver from AMD's website (Catalyst drvr version 13.1). I take it from that that they have enough faith in their card vs new AMD drivers. :-) Thanks for your input!

The Powercolor website is not very elaborate. Could a new BIOS or reflash the existing one solve this fan thing? Yes, I tried Afterburner and also CCC. In afterburner you see the fan speed % increasing but the actual RPM do not. Thank you for thinking with me!
