Just tried 314.14 drivers. Always get a BSOD when trying to enable SLI in the control panel: nvlddmkm.sys 0x0000007e (0xffffffffc0000005, 0xfffff88004da705d, 0xfffff880032d8c48, 0xfffff880032d84a0)

I'm not sure that's true. At the bottom of this thread someone was able to run windowed mode just fine in SLI: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/495320/sli-afr-windowed-just-curious/ I also tried both cards separately so shouldn't be issues with any card.

HyperSLI works for me in full-screen games (except driver 314.07), but any game in windowed mode will hard lock the system instantly. Any ideas? I have already tried resetting the mb bios and reinstalling Windows with nothing but HyperSLI + drivers and game. I also tried a different PSU but same...
