UPDATE: tested the ram, it's good, flashed the mobo with a new bios update and it's still happening. so it's becoming a real pain. I can't figure out what it is. I'm beginning to think it's either the motherboard or the PSU. Mainly because the motherboard was bought used (not too old though) and...

update, I flashed the bios with the latest version and it restarted while I was gone today and It was only using like 25% CPU...

The thing is it's been working fine 100% but I realized somehow it changed from 3.7ghz to 3.4ghz and then that's when I couldn't get it back due to the so I reset the overclock back to normal.
