AMD's RX 500 Series Specifications, Performance Leaked

I found many aspects of this rather disappointing, but most of all would be the dual fan setup. I am a huge fan of their reference single fan blower. Although loud, it saved me from having to use a heater whilst gaming during winter :P

MSI Ships the Vortex Miniature Gaming PC

Complete rip-off in terms of pricing. Looks cute but probably overheats like an oven set to 250c.

    I like my SATA drives.

Enigma Software Sues BleepingComputer Over Negative Review

I always treat Spyhunter as a virus and remove it. In every single case thus so far that i have come across it, the customer always insisted that they had no idea where it came from and did not knowingly install it. If they had known, they would not have done so. Bleeping computers have always...

Star Trek Creator Gene Roddenberry's Long Lost Works Recovered with DriveSavers

I know this is an old post, and i am sorry to bring it back up but . . . I just wanted to state that we recently did a data recovery from 9x 5.25" floppy disks and a cassette tape for a customer that NEEDED to know what was on them. The floppy disks had been subjected to extreme weather and one...

Seagate Hit with Class Action Lawsuit over High HDD Failure Rates

Currently running 23x 2Tb Samsung drives since 2007. Never had a problem with any of them. All Seagate and WD drives i have purchased since 2005 have failed including 4x Seagate 8Tb Archive drives. All drives are read only once they have been filled up and are accessed on average 10 times a...

Star Trek Creator Gene Roddenberry's Long Lost Works Recovered with DriveSavers

I think you are correct red_stapler. I kind of quickly read the post and did not pick up on that. Thank you for bringing that to my attention, i guess it makes me feel a little better about the company, but still . . . . I agree with the previous posts that this is a marketing ploy. You...

Star Trek Creator Gene Roddenberry's Long Lost Works Recovered with DriveSavers

Drive Savers just bit the bullet in my books. 5 years to data recover from 200 floppy's has to be one of the biggest IT jokes. I think there was a very creative data recovery team involved that recovered the data in about 4 hours and spent the next 5 years getting paid to do absolutely nothing...

Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury Pictured, Specs Confirmed

I would need to add the water block and cooling kit to reduce the heat of the GPU whilst under load as opposed to the heat-sink and fan setup, also, reduce the required dual slot space taken by the card and clear up that general area of the board. Personally, I always seem to find a use for my...

MSI Unleashes the X99A GODLIKE Gaming Motherboard

This certainly is a way to put down 'God'. Might as well call it, 'MSi Blasphemy X99A'. I guess this means that anyone religious or atheist should not buy this board ?

Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury Pictured, Specs Confirmed

HUGE card. Most likely will have to add a water block on it anyways. So, with the added price of a basic water block and water cooling setup for this card + the card itself, probably worth going straight to the Fury X.

AMD Revises Pump-block Design for Radeon R9 Fury X

Thank you, I was not aware that Nvidia were going to use HBM2. I thought that AMD had some licencing rights to it, something like that. That's why I assumed that Nvidia needed to get their act together. HBM1 is all good, but just a minor stepping stone in my books, the real fun wont start...
