the 3.5mm TRRS combines optical and analog out. I used similar optical output from my X-Fi Extreme Gamer to the Sony ES receiver for native decoding of DTS/etc in the Sony instead of the PC.
However, that card lacked the ability to send DSD over the optical and was decoding it internally to PCM...
can it decode DSD and output PCM over the optical output? Asking since it would be the holy DD grail for cheap (not DAC, just digtal to digital) especially if its a low jitter optical out (nowadays all should be such)
As Taichi X370 owner, looking at 5800x upgrade from my pitiful 1600 (running 3.8Ghz all-core) these news are exciting, but we already had X370 Taichi(6.62)ROM fixing the X370 Taichi(6.61)ROM that introduced 5xxx support on X370 Taichi.

How on Earth are they claiming Hi-Res audio with only SBC??

It has to have LDAC, aptX or LHDC for Hi-Res audio...

If you think about it, it's logical - the NVMe connection is the fastest way for data to travel between CPU and...
I can hardly wait to get my hands on one, just left to decide which of the 3 key types and its gonna be my birthday present
I for one, although I am on an extremely tight budget, don't think 200/250 USD is too much for a Logitech keyboard. I am rocking a K740 ever since 2006 and it's my only...
works excellent when in exclusive mode on my QC25. I would enjoy further development and adding noise reduce, dynamic range expansion, resampling, etc "pro" features. For now its better than the "waves audio" software processing on my Lattitude 7490, as well as whatever EQ I was able to...
Any idea how to use the HDMI input? Seems one of the few modern MB with HDMI-IN
