Well I dont have an I7 yet, but i know from having Movieman on my account before, I had to change it to 8 cores because he had 2 idle when I had it set to 6. That was on the one DP he added for me.

Go into your WCG profile for your particular cruncher that you only want 6 or 8 or whatsever cores & change it. ;) Under advanced options: Processor usage:

Ya buddy that gpugrid thingy threw me for a loop... Thanks for the advice over @ XS Bob! Had to change my config file too to stop 5 wu's from crunching..lol

Even if i go into the multi player & click on to change to 1player...it still does it...i un-installed & re-installed like 5 times now....:banghead:

I installed the 1.3patch on vista x64...i keep getting a c++ runtime error when i click on the 1pl icon....it sux...multi works like a champ. I think its a problem with Vista & prolly gonna have to reinstall.....:( Anyone else ever run into this?

HPF & Vista x64 dont get along too well. My advice is to not do those WU's on the x64 rig.

Your not running Vista x64 by chance?
