Power consumption is a big deal and 10G ethernet is a thirsty link rate. I intend to upgrade to 2.5gbe and not look higher until there is a significant need.

Large manufacturers are very much capable of providing better software support on their routers. I suspect they will offer only a handful of routers for sale in these markets and support them appropriately.

I have no problem with MSI cashing in on the incredibly high demand for these cards. Why not? All the power to them.

Don't underestimate the Chinese. They have a near stranglehold on electronic supply chains (by their own doing) and are in a position to leverage that to gain traction in the CPU/SOC market. You don't need top performance to have a viable product. A product 15% slower with a price tag of 40%...

TLC is good enough but in this case you're paying Ferrari prices for a BMW product. People are allowed to want MLC for such a huge price premium.

I think you're right but AMD will want to protect the higher margin high-performance products by creating a meaningful performance delta.
