I wonder if the new update will fix the issues my 670E tomahawk is having by not seeing WD NVME drives on a cold boot. Only one or two bios versions work, with the most recent one needing me to boot, wait a minute, then reboot for it to see the drives.
Extremely dissapointed with this...
Would it be possible to add a game that uses directstorage to measure if it makes a difference when bypassing the CPU? It would be interesting to see if it makes any difference given the bottleneck moves to the GPU.
I'm using 4k and wouldn't want to have less than 16GB of VRAM. Finding my card very capable of native 4k in the games I play (including modern titles) but I don't use ray tracing so that's probably why.
I only use FSR if it produces a better image than the native temporal AA in games - not felt...
If they stuck a Gsync module there they couldn't advertise Freesync Premium Pro support, even if they unlocked the VESA VRR support in the module (AFAIK). A lot of extra cost to remove the ability to advertise directly to AMD users.
He has stated he will never stop. They could give him a job but they can't trust that he won't continue hacking and attacking companies when he's not watched.
If he was an arsonist who would never stop burning businesses down you'd expect them to be locked up until they no longer pose a threat...
The standard desk is over £1K in price, and that's before add-ons. For comparison I got a similarly specced standing desk from a no-name company for £210 and it is decent quality.
Heavy 'gamer' tax on this one...
Interesting someone annoyed at cuts to a division would move to Amazon, where 10k+ were cut from the devices org over the last year, and is in a hiring freeze with medium/high attrition. Not a great place to be joining right now..
A very large number of subreddits ran votes with the community on if they should go private. The votes I saw were all over 98% in support from the communities.
The third party apps that are being killed are not just for moderators - they have millions and millions of daily users. Those users...
Once you crack how to prioritize things to game the system it becomes easier. It's a shame as it's basically following a set strategy instead of being a bit more organic in terms of playstyle.
As it would block all business in the UK I'm sure Ireland would be able to spend the additional $4.8bn to make up the shortfall from leaving the UK market ;)
The days of buying GPUs for the sake of high benchmark scores are well behind me. For games, the performance I get is fantastic. For benchmarks like this I use it for tuning my overclocks and fan profiles, like many others. It also lets me compare against like for like systems to see if I'm...
Doesn't matter how other cards perform on it. I am merely highlighting that they can run the toughest benchmark out there at 4K, which you said was too demanding. I'd say it was too demanding if they couldn't run it at all, or were close to single digits. The toughest benchmarks are meant to...
Not at all. The original runs really well in 1440p on my 6900XT (~40fps), and 27fps in 4k. Considering this is the high-end benchmark for 3D mark I consider those reasonable speeds.
The new version is hitting 32FPS without FSR, and 62 FPS at 4k, so a 94% improvement in framerate. At 1440p I was...
