Is not like is a VRAM requirement, its probably that the game is not optimized to scale well at those resolutions. I assume by using the "Ultra" preset it also includes any taxing AA technique like MSAA with a high sample quality. The render buffer can be like four or eight times bigger...

You couldn't be more wrong with that statement, Ultra doesn't necessarily means having x8 of MSAA, which is what taxes the most the performance of a game when you setup the "Ultra" preset of a game. I'm pretty sure the sample quality isn't part of a developer goal when targeting the final visual...

Well isn't that obvious? this is what happen when you try to push things above the average. isn't 1080p @ 120fps enough? Tomorrow I'll bet people will tell me 8GB of RAM isn't enough for gaming... :rolleye:

Thats how the should make the M.2 drives PCB, in black color, so it can match with the color scheme of the mboard, green is soooooo 90's. Sadly being black PCB would give them a reason to charge a premium for that. Also would be great if there was 120GB options and reasonably priced.

The 4 Intel cores are already demolishing AMD 8-cores, then why the need of more cores? I'm personally satisfied with the Intel 4C/8T performance, why go for a 6C/12T platform?

Actually, they started selling the 5th in most countries except the US, the i5-6600K is appearing in stock on most online retailers (Newegg, Amazon and Tiguerdirect) since 1-2 days ago. But the i7-6700K is nowhere in the US. I wish I could find that i7-6700K for $343 here.

Yeah, those extra cores, threads and speed would help quite a bit for a while, If had that I wouldn't worry about upgrading too.

I'm kinda in the same boat. I'm still using the 5-years old Atom N4xx (yes, really!), is been working decently well since 2012 when I got my netbook and if wasn't because its limited to 2GB DDR2 I would probably keep using it with 4GB, now I'm looking to upgrade to a Braswell notebook/netbook...
