No reason why they should work. Windows 8 is basically what Windows 7 was to Vista, an extension/upgrade rather than total remake of the OS. Drivers for certain things will need updates but not all, and applications will only need an update if they want to use the Metro UI.
If I install this, I like it and keep it, when the RC or final release of Windows 8 comes out, will I be able to upgrade my "beta" into the final release or will it require a reinstall?

The Asus monitor has the largest dynamic contrast ratio, although I think all 3 have the same static ratio (Which I hear is the important number). If I get it from Amazon, I can get it on next day delivery.

Uh I don't know if I came across wrong or something but all I did was reply that its definitely not the fan, I am not computer illiterate, I do know the difference between electrical noise and physical noise from a fan. There was no need to reply with such an attitude there.
