Google does not really force you to use Google Store since they allow side loading and other stores to function on Android (like Amazon appstore, Humble Bundle etc.). Either way Google might be forced in the future to include other stores APK in their Google Store.

Well talk about a rotten apple with this update and lack of technical knowledge on the part of the court in general.

I had no idea this court case hurt Apple in such a way they are getting really desperate. Good for Valve and I hope they won't be forced by court to provide that statistics (for this court case) in future.
