Sooo they're touting that they're doing us a favor by "releasing new content" after the game is released, even though the previous games came with the GP, Nordschleife, and full configurations. Sounds like another half baked game at launch. Guess I'll be waiting awhile on this one.

Was just about to suggest using HDMI. My EVGA 3080 FTW3 had strange artifacting with known good DP cables and a known good monitor. Switched to HDMI and no issues since. Had a buddy with a 3090 FTW3 that behaved the same. No idea what the root cause is but HDMI fixed it in our cases.

As many have said, I also use compressed air. Will sometimes pop the fans off and gently use an old toothbrush when I’m feeling neurotic.

I’d propose testing a cards overclocking potential with power limit and temp limit sliders maxed. Regarding manual adjustment / software required to activate, you already need software like Afterburner or Precision to overclock it. But I would agree with you on this one and bet most people...

I recently discovered this myself when reading the 3080 x trio review. Glad I'm not the only one who is puzzled by this method of overclocking... Especially with how these cards appear to be so power limited.
