    TechPowerUp GPU-Z 0.4.7 Released

Appreciation and gratitude As you can see Wiz, I don't post here often, but I am a daily viewer of this site (at least 3 times/week, it would be 5 if I wasn't in college)! Anyways, GPU-Z is a great tool and has helped me monitor my temps as well as find a comfortable overclock for my video...

Hynix Begins Mass Producing 20 nm Class Technology 64 Gb NAND Flash

Hahaha, to answer your question ram costs will not go down completely like it did 2 years ago with DDR2. Hynix introduced this new fab to NAND flash memory, whereas ram is based upon DRAM. The price of DDR3 will probably go down when DDR4 comes out speculated in 2012.

ViewSonic Unleashes World's First 27'' Full-HD Monitor with 1ms Response Time

It says it's an introductory price of 349. I'm guessing after a week, the original MSRP will be 400.

    ZOTAC GeForce GTX 480 SLI

+1/2nded/agreed I would go as far to say that it's equally (depending on what scenes) as graphic intensive as Crysis. Maybe I'm wrong. Edit: Don't hate if I'm wrong.

Bad BIOS flash bricked my 4870

I am pretty sure I did not flash it with a 64KB file. However, when using RBE, it did not flash correctly and my computer did freeze right afterwards causing it to be a paperweight. The sad thing is, my computer started freezing just about a week ago and I'm pretty sure it was the video card...

Bad BIOS flash bricked my 4870

I too, am experiencing the same problem. However, I have tried flashing the fixed bios using atiflash in dos mode to no avail. I haven't tried winatiflash, but that shouldn't matter if I did it with atiflash, right? I'm thinking it's time for me to RMA as well as for Millenia :-\

At Least a Year for Mainstream Nehalem Derivatives

time to wait for larrabee. I honestly didn't think they'd nerf the mainstream that much. However, if their cheapest enthusiast cpu that launches costs around 275 as with the Q9300 then all won't be bad.

Time Warner Considering Selling AOL for Cash

About time...hahaha. If you ever had AOL, you would know how long it took to cancel your service when you were on the phone with "tech support" = (you can't cancel).

How Much Graphics Memory do You Really Need?

Mmmm, it's just the technology trend. It should be common sense to everyone that if you're going to run new games in 1600x1200 or better resolution with everything maxed out and AA+AF. You're going to need a high end card thus equating to faster clocked ram, gpu, and cpu. And like everyone...

Symantec Sends False Warning of 'Full-Scale Internet Meltdown'

Just to throw in the conspiracy theory...what if Symantec was hacked. Hacker sent that out for poops and giggles and then Symantec had to cover their butt with "just a test". How bad would it look for an anti-virus software company to get hacked? Oh snap.

Only 244 copies of Genuine Windows Vista sold in China

Right, but common sense/basics of economics states that there is a 'middleground' price where people are still not going to buy it because of the cheaper price. Diminishing returns and what not...plus if MS spent 5 years developing this new software, spent billions on engineers, billions on...

NVIDIA, AMD and ATI accused of fixing prices

Solution = Find rate of inflation in electronics/computers. Adjust price of video cards with rate of inflation. (i.e. take records from 1995 (voodoo 3dgrafx, radeon 7xxx, nvidia geforce, whatever and adjust video cards accordingly to high-end/mid-range w/respect to inflation).
