When only a handful GPU's can run a game on 1440p ultra with 60fps on a high-end machine with very fast CPU and RAM, please just test a game on medium. Good to know the performance for my 2000$pc. But how many gamers have that?
You need a 7800X3D 7900XT combo to play this on 1440p smoothly...
@W1zzard
You probably won't have time for it. But perhaps you have already experimented with the -10% power limit setting or with undervolting? Seems to me that not a single reviewing has spend time on it ( which I totally understand by the way ). It's always interesting to see how this impacts...
If you know the full power of certain hardware can only be shown by testing it with with a fast GPU and a fast memory, then you should simply do it.
For my future processor reviews, I'll definitely upgrade to Ampere, or RDNA2 if that turns out to be the more popular choice on the market.
When...
Thank you so much for testing with VII and testing of BFV. All other reviewers stopped testing Frostbite engine and for Battlefield players, that benchmark is very important.
But since the 3080 is only 27% faster than my VII in BFV, I'm gonna wait for the Big Navi benchmarks and see if it still...
First of all, the majority of the alt+tab issues you'll find online, are posts from Nvidia users.
Second, as shown in the video I added, the clockspeeds remain the same. No difference in clockspeeds at 140 or 175fps.
I have the following issue:
- I launch BF1: 180+fps
- Alt+TAB or Windows key to read something in a browser or discord
- I open my game again: 140+fps
- I can switch between windows and the game as much as I want again: FPS never goes back to 180fps
- But if I stay in my desktop long enough...
Basicly adding this for people that are looking for results from the "old" Scythe Mugen 5 PCGH Edition on a Ryzen 3900X. I hope you like the work I've done in this comparison. I wil be uploading a Youtube video later to demonstrate the difference in noise levels, because that should be the main...
