What? Show me a few benchmarks that prove that p4's are almost same level as C2D. As far as I know, although i could be mistaken, C2D's own the older P4's in every way. If the C2D's wernt that much of an improvement over prev. models, then why are these so popular?

Well I would consider buying that compuer for about $600. BTW it doesn't matter just how much something costs, but it's relation to performance and price compared to others.
