    Motherboard/Cpu compatibility

I wouldn't worry at all. Back in the day with AM2+ I had a brand new 9950 on an ASUS board that had an old bios. It worked but I had to flash the bios to the latest one to get rid of the bugs. A 970 would work fine before a bios update BUT I would flash the bios as soon as it posted. Worst case...

    i7 960 OC on x58 can't pass 4.0 ghz?

Leave the multi alone on the cpu (25 is the sweet spot). For now you just want to overclock the cpu. You do not want to complicate things more by overclocking the memory. The way x58 overclocking works is. You want your uncore to be twice as fast as your memory. For example memory is at 1600mhz...

Your board got a bit of a droop. Try playing with LLC.

Turbo mode will need to be enabled in order to get that 25x multiplier.

Can you give us other settings like vtt, vcore, timings, uncore, ect ect. Or use a bios layout.

    Motherboard advice? thx

Why not RMA your board. P45-UD3P is one best overclocking boards you can buy.

Where to find HD5770 water block .

I would pick up an MCW80, not sure of the dimensions of the mounting hole. MCW80 can be used over and over again. They work great on gpus from a GTX 580 to even an 8800 GT if you wanted to. I've used my MCW80 on a GTX 470, 9800 GTX, HD 6870, and now it lives on a GTX 460.

Help me find source of High Pitch Noise

Does the squealing happen on load? My 2 ENGTX 460 Directcu sequel all the time when they are folding. Like the others had say, I wouldn't worry about it, usually a choke or a capacitor making the noise. It doesn't mean they are going to go out. Electronics just do that.

    Watercooling tip

You should of got a RS360 version of that kit. What you could do is put a 120mm rad between the cpu and gpus. That would be a temporary solution.
