Been rocking 7950 on my 6700 for a good while and temps have been even better than in the first application here.

I mean, last night I ended up with the computer unable to start just because something bumped into the mouse right as it went into suspend mode.
Shutting down normally also causes the issue, if I press the power button ~10 seconds or so after it turned off.

My computer has a weird issue where I cannot turn it back on immediately. I need to wait 10~15 seconds from shutdown to pressing the power button else the PSU trips some protection circuit, and I have to disconnect the cable and keep it off for about 30s to be able to turn it back on...

The base is an IK75 v3 (VIA version) with Akko Cream Blue Pro V3 and Akko ASA BoW keycaps (I got the latter two for my old keyboard, just changed the base of it)
If it has BIOS Flashback or however they call it on Gigabyte, use it, the flash process went wrong.
Use another USB if possible. You need another computer to download the bios file, make sure it has the correct name and all that.

I think the thing is that for very basic desktop usage you can do without as long as you don't break anything.
Otherwise yeah, you do need it for some administrative stuff, or configuring...
Short answer? yes, for desktop tasks
Long answer? If you mess something up, you'll probably need it. Same goes for windows and trying to recover the system without formatting, though.
