Intel Core i9-13900K and i7-13700K Gaming Stability Issues Linked to Power Limit Unlocks

Kind of expected honestly. I wonder why motherboard manufacturers gamble this lol -- well, probably for better benchmark scores, but at horrible efficiency losses. I imagine Intel will pressure them to push a UEFI update to make the auto power limits the ones recommended by them. Could be a...

Cannot turn PC back on inmediatly after suspend/shutdown

Yeah it seems to be something tripping on the PSU itself when its turned back on immediately after it's turned off. No clue! Otherwise everything seems to work fine...

The RX 6000 series Owners' Club

Been rocking 7950 on my 6700 for a good while and temps have been even better than in the first application here. Pretty impressive, specially considering I got my hotspot down 20C.

I'll do that test next time. I hope it's nothing ~too~ bad. It's been doing it for a solid year and change by now lmao

Cannot turn PC back on inmediatly after suspend/shutdown

I mean, last night I ended up with the computer unable to start just because something bumped into the mouse right as it went into suspend mode. Shutting down normally also causes the issue, if I press the power button ~10 seconds or so after it turned off. I've had no computers before that...

Cannot turn PC back on inmediatly after suspend/shutdown

Hello. My computer has a weird issue where I cannot turn it back on immediately. I need to wait 10~15 seconds from shutdown to pressing the power button else the PSU trips some protection circuit, and I have to disconnect the cable and keep it off for about 30s to be able to turn it back on...

PC won't boot after BIOS update

If it has BIOS Flashback or however they call it on Gigabyte, use it, the flash process went wrong. Use another USB if possible. You need another computer to download the bios file, make sure it has the correct name and all that.

Is it possible to use Linux without the Terminal/command line?

Me aswell, but at the same time my mom has linux on her laptop and she hasn't had to touch it. I think the thing is that for very basic desktop usage you can do without as long as you don't break anything. Otherwise yeah, you do need it for some administrative stuff, or configuring...

Is it possible to use Linux without the Terminal/command line?

Short answer? yes, for desktop tasks Long answer? If you mess something up, you'll probably need it. Same goes for windows and trying to recover the system without formatting, though.

Unigine Superposition GPU Benchmark (1080P Extreme)

Nice. I'm kinda glad there's safe modded drivers now honestly. Those cards prevent ewaste. Yeah. That is what makes them worth buying (also, you can patch nvidia drivers manually). Also, less e-waste in the planet n all. The mobile AMD variants also exist, and they work with stock drivers. No...
