DirectX 12 Makes Windows 7 Debut With Latest World of Warcraft Patch

So, they are doing this just less than 1 year before Windows 7 is considered EOL ? Do people really want to run on a OS that is easily hackable by "script kiddies" like it is now for Windows XP ? I hope for them they'll at least have the Blizzard Authenticator and a pretty solid firewall to at...

Upgrade to LGA 2011v3 from Lynnfield LGA 1156

If you can afford it or can wait to have the little extra it costs versus Z97, then definitively go for it, especially if you want a long lasting system. It will handle whatever you will throw at it except perhaps more than 2 graphic cards in which case a 5930K is better because it has 40 PCIE...

Upgrade to LGA 2011v3 from Lynnfield LGA 1156

Upgrade to LGA 2011v3 from Lynnfield LGA 1156

Well my budget is not limited in the sense that if I want the LGA2011v3 I just have to wait 1-3 more months, so it's just a question of patience here :) Taking in account your responses and knowing that my PC will in general be more game oriented I have reformulated the question : Will a...

Upgrade to LGA 2011v3 from Lynnfield LGA 1156

Hi, I'm actually running an aging i5 750 with a P7P55D with a GTX 780 Ti. The MB is running at full defaults parameters (I can't even put my RAM to 1666Mhz with XMP profile), so I was thinking that it's time for an upgrade. The big question is : is LGA 2011v3 worth the investment ? I've seen...
