    Montech King 95 Pro

I like this case a lot - I think aesthetically, it beats the H6 Flow. And none of the King 95's errors really bother me that much. The Phanteks NV5 is still my favourite 'showcase special' around this price point, but regardless, I'm impressed.

Yeston Rolls Out "Cute Pet Edition" GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Card

Silly, but harmless and fun. A real marmite situation: some people will kill for this, others will want to kill it.

Razer Announces BlackWidow V4 75% Gaming Keyboard

I'm definitely feeling the Blackwidow V4. Hot-swappable switches were the one thing I wished my old Blackwidow Lite and current V3 Mini Hyper had. Combined with the foam and gasket and such, I'm quietly excited. Sure, you get all the above with Keychron, Drop and many, many more enthusiast...

Ubisoft Revisits The Crew Franchise's History, Ahead of Motorfest's Launch on September 14

I'm giving The Crew MotorFest a shot in Sep. After the enjoyable but ultimately lacklustre NFS Unbound, I need another arcade racer. The long-term support and huge vehicle list is massively appealing too. I've got nothing against Forza Horizon, but I prefer Forza Motorsport as a rule, so I stay...

Report: ASUS to Start Production of GPUs With No External Power Connectors

As the comments above mention, a new standard where the power cables are hidden would be pretty neat (pun not intended). But as a proprietary solution, hard pass (unless I was building a showcase pc or something)

Ubisoft Announces Open-World Star Wars Outlaws Game

Here's the thing: the game sounds great, but I'm so bored of retreading the same timeline again and again from different perspectives. I'm desperate to leave the Episode 1-9 timeline and fall in love with a new story in a new era (the High Republic era stuff that's been teased sounds pretty...

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Founders Edition

Performance-wise, this is what the 4060 Ti should've been. At $450 USD thereabouts, this card trading blows with a 3080 would be a win and a decent successor (as the 3060 Ti beat the 2080). But a $600, 4070 would really need to smoke a 3080 Ti to be worth the expense in my opinion. So overall...

MSI Reveals a Single AMD A620 Chipset Based Motherboard

This MB would have to be really, really cheap to be worth purchasing. At 75 USD, sure, I'd consider it. But anything even close to 100 USD, the value disappears out the window. I know A620 is bottom of the stack, but maaan. Many areas of the PC component game is in a price-to-performance freefall.

    Antec Performance 1 FT

This case feels merely 'okay' in my opinion. All the basics (size, appearance, storage slots, expansion slots) are good, but the price is a bit high and the additional screen and software feels really gimmicky and tacked on. If they'd dropped the screen, and dropped the price to 110-120 USD...

    AMD Ryzen 9 7900

I've got a 7900 for a Graphic Design machine (picked one up around release date). Here's the highlights and pitfalls: - Long boot times are true, but not horrendous. You get used to it. - Excellent efficiency. I've seen very similar figures to the TPU tests (rarely going over 75W, 88W spikes...

Dell Announces 32-inch UltraSharp 6K Monitor With Thunderbolt 4 at CES

As a Graphic Designer, I'd definitely go 6K or 4K if I wasn't a gamer at all, and my PC setup budget was exceptionally large. But as neither are true, 27 Inch 1440p is still the sweet spot. As long as I'm above 100dpi, I can draw comfortably, and as long as I'm below 4K, I can game comfortably...
