    Awesome DDR3 for AM3

EDIT: Wow, so first set developed cold boot issues and the second set will only run 8-8-8-24. I'm using 8GB (4x2) of this G.Skill 1600 in my system now running 7-8-7-24 @ 1.65v... http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=243 I haven't tried to OC the memory yet so no clue how far they...

    x6 "Thuban" temps

I was curious about this too. I wanted to get a base line before I started overclocking. I've tried AMD's Overdrive (in pic) and MSI's Control Center (which shows 31C) and the temps just seem ridiculously low for 6 loaded cores...

    So, which 890FX board?

I was surprised with the lack of 890FX boards at launch as well as the lack of non Crosshair reviews. I found zero on the M4A89TD Pro and one GD70 review (bit-tech.net). I bought my MSI partly because of the 12.3% Bing cash back and partly because of the Bit-Tech review/ Anandtech used it for...

Phenom II X6 1055T now available !!! (not 1090T yet though)

AMD is releasing a 95W 1055T sometime in Q2 as well not just the 125W were seeing now. The 2.6Ghz 1035T X6 will also be 95W.

GA-MA790X-UD4 support for Phenom II x6 processors

This is the board I'm currently using and I was hoping it would get upgraded BIOS for the X6. I'm still moving to an 890X but this would at least give me some time for a bug fix BIOS upgrade before I buy.

    Best Budget SSD?

I hope your not including the new 612/618 in that statement. The new JM controllers are actually good. I'd agree that the Indilinx is better but I wouldn't ignore the JMicron. 612 = Samsung NAND, 618 = Toshiba NAND... other than that same controller but the reviews are good...

    Best Budget SSD?

The OCZ Vertex can be had for $150 after $20 rebate... http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=10009850 It's based on the Indilinx controller. I just bought one yesterday. Kingston has one based on the new JMicron JMF618 controller (not to be confused with the...
