They are Crazy, after having 2 single-slots cards(ATI 1650 pro and Ati 3850) i swear i will never buy a single-slot card again At least you could cook at the same time you are playing videogames :laugh:

I think you don´t know what you are saying, a 3850 AGP hands all modern games withouth any problem with the right procesor like the one our friend has. The only games this card can´t run at maximum are GTA IV(medium-high), Crysis(medium with AA or high without AA), Far Cry 2(Very High without...

It deppends what game you want to play, but don´t expect to play any new videogame with that processor.

Then put the Raid, but think about the disadvantage a Raid have against a single hard disk.

Raid Would be faster, but the Caviar Black would be better for your money. I personally think Caviar Black is enhough for most people

As Xazaz have said ATI mobility cards are the same as desktop cards, but with lower frecuencies.

Then 2GB dual channel will be the best

2GB dual channel will be better at the moment, but in short time i think the games will need 3Gb Ram, so ¿why no 4GB dual channel?

This is strange, maybe the game that you try with, it´s not demandig all the potwer of your gpu, try with Crysis or try monitoring ingame with msi afterburner/evga precision

I had the same problem and it was caused by the dual core core optimizer
