I have my cards running at 940 GPU 1100 Memory and my lowest speeds are, like yours 300 on both so I wouldn't know how to lower that. Besides I'm on crossfire so I don't really know if that has an impact on how much low clocks can go.

That's the problem. You can flash but then you cannot install the drivers properly.

Bumping this thread... has anyone successfully modified a BIOS for a 6870 Radeon card? I mean modifying the original bios of the card to change clocks, voltages and fan speeds? Martin.-

It is solved. It was that my notebook was not scaling properly. After I manually added the resolution to it (according to the TV's manual) 1920x1080@60fps with no scaling (formatting on the TV) it was done. The reason I couldn't do it is because I had to extend the desktop and not mirror...

Thanks for the answer; I forgot to say that I do have the latest 11.2 drivers and still I cannot set a 1920x1080 Resolution on my LCD. The screen on the notebook is 1366x768 and maybe that is causing the issues but I don't know.

So... has anyone successfully flashed a 6870's BIOS to increase GPU/Memory clocks, voltages and Fan curves? I've been trying to do that on a Sapphire HD 6870 (this one)with no luck at all. After what seems to be a successful flash the AMD drivers will cause a BSOD -atikmdag.sys- and windows...
