16Gb ( 12 Gb useable ) previously it was 16Gb ( 12 Gb useable ) if i installed the ram following ASUS manual what works is completely NOT what ASUS recommended.....

I had google this problem as i was facing the same thing AFTER much trying and pulling out my hair, bios update and what not. the FINAL solution was to ignore ASUS manual. my 16GB installed , nearest CPU, black slot, blue slot ,black slot. 4bg, 8Gb, 4Gb. damn ASUS !
