yeah, followed th sticky step by step since i hadnt used the multicore client before

dropped down to stock speed and still not getting any result, not sure what else could be causing the problem... vista 64 wouldnt be an issue would it?

getting a message now at least, run has entered a state from which no further progress can be made, says to check stability of my computer, so i guess i'll drop the speed down to stock and see if i continue to have problems

using version 6.23 beta r1 when i open up task manager i'm seeing 4 instances of FahCore_a1.exe*32, is that supposed to happen? priority is set at below normal

just set up f@h yesterday, and not sure what's going on, computer is showing 100% usage on both cores, but after leaving it on overnight i'm still showing 0/500000 steps. any ideas on what i'm doing wrong?

creative has had some driver problems with vista, not a clue if it's cleared up yet or not though

i'm still using my stock cooler as well, although it is in an antec 300, so 2 large fans pulling air away, and have the cpu fan to stay at 100% also, removed the thermal pad from the cooler and lapped/used artic silver 5 so possibly a degree or two improvement from that total system just in...

Just started folding for the team under medros. have the smp client going on my e5200 @3.1ghz also have a 8800gs to set to folding

Currently have mine set up with 250 mhz bus speed, and 12.5x multiplier at stock voltage for 3.125ghz (if i push it any farther get in the upper 60's under full load)

like they said, I'd start out doing tech support, even if you don't offer it and manage to make sales, pretty big chance they're going to call asking for it anyway, then you have pissed off customers and little repeat business.
