can't get the catalyst drivers to install... says i need windows framework.. is there another way to find out temps without catalyst drivers installed? haven't been able to keep windows up long enough to update windows etc etc yet, best i can do is put stuff from cd onto the comp and install it...

hmm now im worried its not the graphics card.. im not sure.. the fan worked a minute ago for ages whilst the system started up and it still shut down! using Asus A8-N Sli SE

its a 3-pin plug but its slightly smaller than the psu connector or any of the other motherboard fan slots :) i have tried them hehe before i can access the internet i have to install all the drivers from the motherboard cd etc and i dont even have drivers for the card! it didn't come with...

would anything else cause random shutdowns? i figure ive put everything else onto the motherboard correctly...

well the fan connector goes into the card, i have read other problems on other boards. There maybe a solution to adapt the pins from the card and attatch to the molex connector from the psu or to a fan point on the board. However the buyer has agreed to me returning for a refund.. i wish there...
