I need the Seagate FireCuda 120 SSD 1TB because after 20+ years of entering online Tech contests I have never won anything, so I need this to restore my faith in the the Tech Community.
Why are Gaming Monitors always advertised as if response time is the only measure of "gaming performance"? What about input lag? What good is a high response without a corresponding (specified) low input lag?
I just had a 3TB seagate fail on me a few days ago. At work most of the 3TB Seagates have failed or developed bad sectors in under a year. There is a reason drives are now being spec'd for "desktop" use and not 24/7. Limited poh and limited writes even.
The 4TB seem to be better from what ive...
Please note its SLC.
Thats alot more read/write cycles than a MLC based SSD.
At that price it might be worth using as a pagefile, temp file drive ie operations requiring lots of writes.
What we need is more reasonably priced SLC based SSDs. Its so hard to even find SLC based usb flash drives.
