Need Help Figuring Our Power Limiting with Razer Core X to Laptop via Thunderbolt 3

I was able to get rid of some stuttering just now by disabling the GTX 1650 MaxQ in the Device Manager and rebooting with only the Intel 630 and the Razer Core's 3060 Ti enabled. I also set the Nvidia Control Panel to Globally Prefer the High-End Nvidia GPU, instead of Auto-Detect. The 1650 Max...

Need Help Figuring Our Power Limiting with Razer Core X to Laptop via Thunderbolt 3

Ok, here's the log file for the past hour or so (attached). This is what I did during the TS log: -Booted up the laptop with the Razer Core X OFF -Turned on Logging in TS. -Ran a quick TS Bench for giggles. No issues. -Turned ON the Razer Core X -Loaded up Steam and then Ran No Man's Sky for a...

Need Help Figuring Our Power Limiting with Razer Core X to Laptop via Thunderbolt 3

Hi, I have a nice stable Throttlestop undervolt for my HP Spectre x360 2019 Laptop. It's a skinny laptop, so it's got bad cooling, but I managed to get it to a point where my temps are good and everything runs stable. Undervolted and unclocked, but it's good. -One problem. When I plug in my...

How does an RTX 3080 perform over a TB3 connection from an eGPU to a Laptop with 9750h/10750h?

Curious what the performance is if you plug a RTX 3080 into an eGPU housing and run it to a 2019/2020 laptop with Thunderbolt 3 support. Specifically with an i7 9750h/10750h or AMD equivalent CPU. I can't find any reviews for that type of setup yet. I'm sure there's bottlenecking, but at what...

    Undervolt intel i7 10th gen

Are you sure you can't undervolt? Looks like you can click the "Unlock Adjustable Voltage" box on that screen you posted.

Undervolting TrottleStop i7-7700HQ insane core undervolt -1.000mv

On my 9750H, I have my core offset at -250.00 and my cache offset at -115.2. I can also do -125 and -125 on each, but as I lower my core offset, I find the cache offset has to be increased. A 2:1 ratio seems to be the breakpoint. I find the Core Offset lowers temps more than the Cache offset...

    Undervolting i7 9750H

Glad it helped! I actually kept going and was to juggle the offsets a bit more. I lowered my CPU Core offset to -250.00 and bumped my CPU Cache Offset to -115.2. That's the absolute lowest I can go on both before I get errors. It's different for every CPU though - they are not all created equal...

    Undervolting i7 9750H

Try this: In FIVR: 1. Set your IccMax slider for both Core and Cache to 250.00. 2. Set your Power Plane PPO Current limit to 140. 3. Lower your voltage offset on both the CPU and Cache to -125 In TPL: 1. Change your TPL Boosts to 70 Long and 90 Short and uncheck the clamp. 2. Change your...

    Unstable undervolt - i7-9750h

One thing I haven't touched when undervolting are the IccMax ranges. My CPU Core IccMax is at 140.00 and the CPU Cache IccMax is at 11.00. I assume those are default values as I never touched them. The Cache Ratio box shows it set at Default in the CPU Cache settings. It's blank in the CPU Core...

    Unstable undervolt - i7-9750h

My Cinebench scores are usually between 2430 and 2511, without any errors or throttling using my settings. I have an HP Spectre laptop, which doesn't have that great cooling. That's why I keep my core freqs lower. Here are all my settings: ^ I just ran that Cinebench while typing this...

    Unstable undervolt - i7-9750h

Ha - I'm tweaking my i7 9750H right now too. If that undervolt is stable as-is, I would just drop the core freq range to something like 36,35,34,33,32,31 and change the Turbo Boost Long/Short Maxes to 45/60. Maybe even just set all your cores to 32,32,32,32,32,32 and drop the Turbo Short/Long...
