    Help with AsRock 990FX Extreme3?

Refer to this post at TT forums - 990FX Extreme3 + new FX 8320 not working It appears that the 1.7 BIOS brings support for the FX8320 CPU. The 8350 sadly is not supported.

Ram prices are crazy need help.

The problem is that even the cheapest oem or no-name ram here in Eastern Europe still cost quite a lot, and is not that cheaper than the branded ones. In Romania a 2x4GB kit by "Zeppelin" (first time I've seen the brand) costs a 100 dollars depending on the exchange rate. A 2x4GB mainstream...

I was thinking of getting the Arctic Accelero Hybrid for my HD6870, is this a good cooler?

In Sweden the Mono is actually more expensive than the TTII, not by much, but still... If the OP is strapped for space, then go for the Mono, but other than that, at the same price, it's pointless.

I was thinking of getting the Arctic Accelero Hybrid for my HD6870, is this a good cooler?

The G10 is an adapter to fit the Kraken on a graphics card. To me it's absolutely pointless to watercool a midrange GPU or CPU. Water makes sense only when overclocking and using the fastest hardware available. It's useless on the midrange because for the extra added value of a real wc kit you...

    Cpu cooler under 155mm

It would be helpful if you could structure your question better. What's your budget? Like sneekypeet said your specs are not showing, so that's also not helping. Basically you can't go wrong with the TRUE 120M, despite it being a bit pricey. A cheaper choice would be the CM T4 with quad heat pipes.

ASUS GTX 780 Ti DirectCU II OC 3 GB

I do understand that it's a subjective appreciation for the product, but how much more did you expect from the Palit model? It's 15 degrees cooler than the Asus, almost 20 below the reference. It's quieter, overclocks more and uses less power. All that at the cost of an extra slot, which won't...

ASUS R9 270X DirectCU II TOP 2 GB

I agree with you to an extent. But think longevity, think overclocking, not everybody has a perfectly cooled case, some people live in warm climates where it's hot all year round. Not everybody sits in a temperature controlled lab. I know they do extensive testing, but for being a premium...

ASUS R9 270X DirectCU II TOP 2 GB

Typical mediocrity and corner-cutting from Asus in the midrange. I like them going crazy with their high-end stuff, but not this. Would it hurt them that much to put a little more effort? There's now vrm cooling, there's no cooling for the ram. How much does a baseplate cost damnit? I can't...

HIS R9 270X IceQ X² Turbo Boost 2 GB

Meh... It's the old 7870 reference design for more money. My Sapphire 7870 (practically identical board) overclocks the same. Only distinction is the better ram.

Share R9-290X price in your country.

Sorry, but Bulgaria is way ahead at 1300 lev or the equivalent of $910. Lev to dollar exchange rate stands at 1:0.70 atm The "good" thing is that it's only an initial price for the first imports. It will probably settle down closer to a 1000 lev or $700. Right now the AMD is about a $100...

    AMD Radeon R9 290X 4 GB

That thing sure is loud when not crippled by the 'quiet' BIOS setting. The cooler really let's it down. http://youtu.be/1W5OXvIzRKc?t=2m40s Power draw is also on the high side. Some of the other tests i've come across show above 300 watts at the uber setting. Guess that's the price you pay...

Cooler Master Launches GX II Series Mid-Range PSUs

OEM is Enhance. The line also features 400W and 750W models. JohnnyGuru has a review up since sept. 10. The 750W appears to perform ok, but they're too pricey for my liking.

    Your GPU history?

Cool thread, I'll give it a try with what I can remember GF MX 440 (really wanted a 4-series Ti, but was too poor back then, don't remember the manufacturer) Chaintech Geforce 6600 256MB DDR, the basic model of the line, again too poor for anything more up the scale but still had loads of...

    Virtue by Digital Storm Launched

Honestly, who buys these things? Their systems are not bad, but the markup is outrageous. The second and third builds on their site are close to a 1000 dollars (each) more expensive than what one would normally pay if doing the assembly themselves. All the BS "expert craftsmanship"...
