NVIDIA Ampere Cooling Solution Heatsink Pictured, Rumors of Airflow Magic Quashed

Maybe it's just Nvidia beeing nvidia fancy design. I just wonder about the price reading trough the leaks of performance and price of the cooler solution....

Why would they design such a complicated heatsink then?

NVIDIA Ampere Cooling Solution Heatsink Pictured, Rumors of Airflow Magic Quashed

I still can't belive they are looking to have cards with over 300W tdp... and I was hopeing for a really quiet card running fans at 1000RPM with temps in the 65C. Don't think it's going to happen if they are pusing over 300W tdp

NVIDIA's Next-Gen Reference Cooler Costs $150 By Itself, to Feature in Three SKUs

Why the above 300W TDP?? That's very odd when moving to a smaller node (7nm). I was hopeing for something under 250W TDP for top tier cards

NVIDIA's Next-Gen Reference Cooler Costs $150 By Itself, to Feature in Three SKUs

If Nvidia started an investigation this means there is even more chance that the cooler is legit for the next Ampere cards

NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti and GA102 "Ampere" Specs, Other Juicy Bits Revealed

When I saw: triple fan design, dual 8 pin connector, I am just thinking about a high TDP card, which is contradicting the whole 7nm design process, unless this is just rumors. 7nm should be more efficient bringing the TDP down, so why the double 8 pin and tripple fan design.

Team Group T-Force Dark Zα DDR4-3600 MHz CL18 2x8 GB

Not a RAM expert, but was going to buy the G.Skill 3600 CL16 (£160), but looking at the price of this kit (~£90) it looks there is not much difference in terms of performance. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think the above G.Skill is worth double the money.

can 6 phase VRM boards handle 3900X? would like feedback from people who tried it

Even the MSI B450 Tomahwak can handle the 3950x according to HardwareUnboxed which is a beast of a processor. The only thing that I don't like about that board it's somehow the astethics (it doesnt have some fancy vram, back inputs cover), and in some areas it can lack some features, but other...

PSU advice between Corsair and BeQuiet

Hello. I am looking for a silent PSU for my next build. Looking online the corsair RM series comes up a lot as a very good PSU being very silent. I had experience with BeQuiet Straight Power series before, and this was silent for me. So the question is: Why is the Corsair RM PSU more highly...
