I've always been paranoid about hardware heat and it's destructive nature. Does the OP have sufficient case cooling? Or is that not relevant?

Sounds like the OP has been targeted as others have suggested. And perhaps pissed someone or some entity off. Personally If I had that kinds of news I would have put the hardware through an industrial mincing machine.....Then quickly put the house up for sale.

I'm going to wait till after Christmas then decide If I'm going to buy an RTX, or not. If I go used there should be plenty be offloaded when owners realise they'd rather have the cash instead. I just can't stomach the over inflated prices for new.
