Yeah but my card wasn't OC'ing past 1400Mhz and now all of the sudden it maxes the slider, what's up with that o_O. forgot to mention, i have dual screen setup so memory clock doesn't fluctuate (if that helps lol).

Hey, As the title suggest, I'm getting some random stupid good oc on the memory clock on this driver alone, after upgrading/downgrading it all goes to crap. It starts showing artifacts after pushing it further than 1625Mhz, shows some artifacts after this but no hard crashes. Memory barely...

Remember that CPU NB Clock will also increase cpu temps, try setting it on auto(it will adjust to ram speed a.k.a optimal clock), undervolt nb volt as much as you can and do further testing :), it helped a lot on my 6800k(we're both piledrivers :toast:).

I've upgraded 5 PCs and only one of them, a Dell laptop had some weird wi-fi driver issues, it goes into airplane mode by itself at random intervals, it was switched back to win8.1 and the problem went away.

Try increasing NB Volt and see how that goes, fx8350's support ram up to 1600, i remember had to increase my nb volt a bit on my cpu to be completely stable with my 2400mhz kits. Also i hate prime95, try aida64 or occt :).

i defended myself with my hd8670d oc'ed to 1169mhz and memory oc'ed to 2400mhz for about a year and a half before buying my r9 290, mostly played mobas and mmorpgs but i also played all assasins creed til blackflag, several battlefields at decent fps with a mixture of med to high settings.

It's with amd and intel, if those chipset drivers aren't installed properly they may cause these type of issues and it's a recurring thing to newly self built computer as they sometimes skip those. @OP: Check your pci-e power saving features? On Settings - Power Options - Advanced power...

Check if CPU is thermal throttling with the motherboard sensor with this app HWInfo and check if you installed chipset drivers from your motherboard driver disc, if you did then go into asus's website and download latest, install, reboot and see how that goes. Post pics of voltages from HWInfo...

6800k is an amd cpu and i also have a r9 290, still rather fast :p reinstall browser? and/or try a previous version?

im sitting on 600mb and is rather fast with 7 tabs on ff 44.0.2, cpu is a 6800k with 8gb ram on win10 64bits.

Try updating bios and chipset drivers to the latest version and see if that works.
